FOUR FIGURATIONS

10th – 27th of October

The four artists Even Richardson, Per Lundgren, Harald Kolderup and Trine Folmoe have all painted classically figuratively since they started in the late 1970s and early 80s. They cultivate the painterly qualities and the classical craftsmanship. Their art is based on their own studies and self-development. In terms of craftsmanship, they relate to the use of living models and studies of nature. They have all had free lessons with Odd Nerdrum, but also had other teachers such as Rolf Schønfeld and Oddmund Raudberget. As colleagues, they have had a rewarding relationship through discussions and exchange of experience, and joint exhibitions with common content and goals.
